
The EOS RP has the same RF mount as the EOS R, so all the EOS R lenses are natively supported. The EOS RP supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Canon will optionally sell you a camera grip that attaches to the bottom and extends the height of the camera for a more comfortable grip. The camera uses the LP-E17 batteries and supports USB charging. EOS RP comes with an optional grip extender that attaches to the bottom The EOS RP has a 0.39-type OLED EVF with 2.36M dots and 100% coverage along with a fully articulating 3.0-inch 1.04M dots LCD touchscreen. It has 88% coverage and can focus down to EV -5. The camera has Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with a staggering 4779 manually selectable AF points and a focusing time of approximately 0.05 seconds with native lenses. The EOS RP has a 26.2 megapixel full frame sensor, that is likely the same one used on the EOS 6D Mark II. Canon is pitching this as the full frame camera for the masses. The EOS RP is a cheaper model and also happens to be the smallest full frame camera in Canon's history.
