The camera uses the LP-E17 batteries and supports USB charging. The EOS RP has a 26.2 megapixel full frame sensor, that is likely the same one used on the EOS 6D Mark II. Canon is pitching this as the full frame camera for the masses. The EOS RP is a cheaper model and also happens to be the smallest full frame camera in Canon's history.
